Introduction

Snack smoothie Snack smoothie
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1 cup (140 g by weight) frozen mixed berries
3 oz plain Oikos 0% greek yogurt
    2 tsp granulated sugar
    1/3 c. 2% milk
    tiny splash of vanilla

Tips

The vanilla adds some more "sweetness" without adding additional sugar or artificial sweetener. You can eliminate the sugar if you've weaned yourself to that point - I haven't!

If you want it even higher protein, leave the berries in the fridge overnight to thaw and use 2/3 c. greek yogurt and just enough milk to thin it to the desired consistency. The berries can't be frozen for this to work, however. The smoothie will then have 16g of protein.

Directions

Microwave the frozen berries for 30 seconds to soften slightly. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
