This is a delicious tofu recipe that is so tasty! This is a delicious tofu recipe that is so tasty!
Number of Servings: 2


    1 14 oz block extra firm tofu, drained & pressed
    2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
    2 tablespoons lemon juice (the juice from 1 lemon)
    1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
    2 tablespoons dijon mustard
    1 teaspoon sugar
    1 teaspoon basil
    1 teaspoon thyme
    Salt & Pepper to taste


This dish goes with so much!


1. Cut pressed tofu into 1/2 inch strips.
2. In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, dijon mustard, sugar, basil, thyme, salt & pepper to taste until thoroughly blended.
3. Place tofu strips in shallow dish or bowl. Pour sauce over tofu, coating well and evenly.
4. Allow tofu to marinate for at least 1 hour, although longer is better (I let it marinade overnight). Turn tofu at least once during marinade process and re-coat with sauce.
5. When ready to bake tofu, preheat oven to 375 degrees. Transfer tofu and marinade to baking dish.
6. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes, turning tofu once during cooking. Pour marinade over tofu as needed.
