Put frozen strawberries in the refrigerator the night before you make this to thaw. Put frozen strawberries in the refrigerator the night before you make this to thaw.

    6-7 frozen strawberries slightly thawed (nut. info with 7)
    slice up one small banana or about 3/4 cup
    About 1 1/2 tbsp of local organic honey
    1-1 1/2 c of light vanilla soy milk

    Put all ingredients into a blender and blend, then enjoy!

    I make small containers with the strawberries and sliced bananas on the weekends and freeze them, then I just use what I need and makes a quick and easy breakfast smoothie I can drink during my commute.


You can use other fruit and artificial sweeteners. I don't like the after taste of most, so I use local honey. It helps my kiddos with their allergies and I am supporting my local bee keeper!
