    Baking Powder, 0.5 tsp (remove)
    Salt, 0.5 tsp (remove)
    Butter, unsalted, 0.5 cup (remove)
    Granulated Sugar, 0.385 cup (remove)
    Brown Sugar, 0.385 cup, unpacked (remove)
    Vanilla Extract, 0.5 tsp (remove)
    Water, tap, .0417 fl oz (remove)
    Egg, fresh, 1 large (remove)
    Walnuts, 0.5 cup, chopped (remove)
    Semisweet chocolate, 1 cup chips (6 oz package) (remove)


1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift together 1 cup plus 2 tbsp sifted flour, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp salt; set aside.
2. Blend 1/2 cup butter (softened for shortening), 6 tbsp granulated sugar, 6 tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, 1/4 tsp water. Beat in 1 egg. Add flour mixture and mix well. Stir in 1/2 cup coursely chopped walnuts. Spread in greased pan (13"x9"x2") or greased glass baking dish. Then sprinkle 1 cup Nestle Semi-sweet Chocolate Morsels over top of batter. Place in oven for 1 minute. Remove from oven and run knife through batter to marbleize. Return to oven and continue to bake.
3. Bake at 375 degrees 10 to 12 minutes aluminum pan, 12 to 14 minutes glass dish. Cool and cut into 2" squares.
