Introduction

Ingredients

    1.5 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    1/4 teaspoon paprika
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/4 teaspoon onion powder
    1/2 teaspoon dried basil
    1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
    6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
    3 cups water
    1 stick butter
    2 tablespoons olive oil (or duck butter)
    5 garlic cloves
    1 pkt splenda
    3 tablespoons lime juice
    1whole spaghetti squash (steamed about 4 cups)

Directions

steam spaghetti squash in microwave 40 mins total.
saute onions and garlic in butter and duck butter in large skillet. Once onions are carmelized, pull out and set aside, preserving sauce base.

Put all spices in a bowl, mix together, coat the chicken, fry in sauce base, approx 5 mins per side, checking temp to 175 with thermometer over med to med hi heat.

Remove chicken breasts to plate, mix 1 tsp cornstarch and about 1/4 c water in a slurry, whisk in, repeat 3 x, adding remaining water. Return onions to skillet, mix, return chicken, simmer 10 mins on low, serve over steamed spaghetti squash.
