Ingredients

    1 Small Butternut Squash
    1 Medium Red Delicious Apple
2 cups Organic 99% FF Chicken Broth
1/3 cup FF Half and Half

    To Taste:

    Cinnamon
    Splenda
    Nutmeg
    Salt
    Pepper
    Parsley

Directions

Roast Butternut Squash in oven till tender and skin can be removed.

When Squash is cooling cut and peel apple and begin to boil in 2 cups of broth. Remove skin from squash and cut in pieces then add to apples and broth.

Simmer for 15-20 minutes till apples are tender and broth starts to evaporate.

Put everything in he blender and add more broth for desired thickness (I like mine a little thicker so I may not use all 4 cups of broth, thickness will also affect number of servings). Once mixture is smooth add H&H.

Return to pot and add desired spices.

Serve immediately or store for later. Makes 3 1 cup servings
