Just a simple tomato-basil hummus recipe. Just a simple tomato-basil hummus recipe.
Number of Servings: 16


    Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 3.5 cups
    Garlic, 4 cloves
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Tahini, 3 tbsp
    Lemon Juice, 0.35 cup
    Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 10 tbsp
    Tomato Paste, 0.5 cup
    Sun Dried Tomatoes, 0.25 cup
    Basil, 5 tbsp
    Paprika, 0.25 tsp
    Pepper, white, 0.25 tsp


If using dry herbs instead of fresh, let the pureed mixture sit for a half hour before serving.


Blend all ingredients in a food processor, until smooth in consistency. Scrape the sides of the bowl occasionally and make sure all ingredients are evenly distributed in the mixture. Adjust salt, pepper, and paprika to taste.

Serving Size: Makes 16 servings, about 4 Tbsp or 0.25 cup each
