Green beans are delicious and with grass fed butter they are Paleo-delicious. Green beans are delicious and with grass fed butter they are Paleo-delicious.
Number of Servings: 1


    2 cups or more of fresh organic green beans
    1T Kerrygold grassfed butter
    1/4 C water
    sea salt to taste


I know this has butter but I eat a low carb, high fat diet following a Paleo protocol so don't make it and down vote it if you are staying away from fat in your diet. I have to say that Paleo has changed my life and I've lost more weight and been more satisfied with my diet then ever before.


Thoroughly wash the green beans, drain and, if you like, dump them in an ice water bath.
Bring a saute pan filled with water to a boil.
Boil green beans for a few minutes to your desired softness.
If you wish, you can dump the cooked beans back into ice water to stop the cooking process.
Melt the butter in a frying pan and mix with 1/4C water.
Saute the beans in the sauce until warmed through.
Salt to taste and serve!
