2 cups or more of fresh organic green beans
1T Kerrygold grassfed butter
1/4 C water
sea salt to taste
I know this has butter but I eat a low carb, high fat diet following a Paleo protocol so don't make it and down vote it if you are staying away from fat in your diet. I have to say that Paleo has changed my life and I've lost more weight and been more satisfied with my diet then ever before.
Bring a saute pan filled with water to a boil.
Boil green beans for a few minutes to your desired softness.
If you wish, you can dump the cooked beans back into ice water to stop the cooking process.
Melt the butter in a frying pan and mix with 1/4C water.
Saute the beans in the sauce until warmed through.
Salt to taste and serve!
