Introduction

Good Hearty Soup Good Hearty Soup
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 1/2 TBSP Olive Oil
    1 Cup Diced Onion
    4 tsp Minced Garlic
    6 oz Left Over Grilled Sirloin Steak Diced into 1/4 " cubes
    1 1/2 tsp Salt
    1/2 tsp Black Pepper
    3 tsp Dried Thyme Leaves
    1/4 tsp Rubbed Sage
    2 Qts Prepared Better than Bullion Beef Broth
    6 oz Frozen Mixed Vegetables
    1 C Quaker Quick Barley Pearls

Tips

Add Diced canned tomatoes and tomato paste if desired


Directions

1) In a 5 Qt Pot Bring Oil to medium temp.
2) Add Onions and Garlic and sweat,
3) Add Steak and seasonings. Cook 7 - 10 Mins. Stirring occasionally.
4) Add Beef Broth, increase heat and bring to boil.
5) Add Frozen Vegetables and Barley Pearls
Cover, reduce heat to medium heat and simmer for 10 - 13 Minutes. Serve Hot
