    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 cup corn meal
    4 teaspoons baking powder
    3/4 teas salt
    2 eggs
    1 cup skim milk
    1/4 cup Canola oil


Stir together flour corn meal, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add eggs, milk and shortening. Beat with electric beater till smooth.
Pour batter into greased 9x9x2 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
