    4 oz cream cheese, softened
    1 large egg
    2 T sugar
    2/3 c mini semi-sweet chocolate morsels

    1 pkg white cake mix (or pound cake mix, even better!)
    1 c pumpkin
    1/3 c water
    2 large eggs
    2 t pumpkin pie spice
    1 t baking soda


Preheat oven to 350.(?)

Mix first 4 ingredients in small bowl, set aside.

Mix remaining ingredients with mixer on medium for 3 minutes.

Fill 2 cupcake liners approximately 2/3 full. Top with creamcheese/chocolate chip mixture.

Bake 20-25 min or until toothpick comes out clean.

Serving Size: makes 22 cupcakes
