Ingredients

    1 large Onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
    1-2 lbs. lean ground turkey
    4 garlic cloves, minced
    1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
    1 tsp. Black pepper
    1 tsp. Cumin
    1 15 oz can Pinto beans, rinsed
    1 15 oz. can Black beans, rinsed
    1 14.5 oz can tomatoes (stewed, diced, or crushed)
    1 6 oz can tomato paste (low sodium)
    1 14.5 oz can chicken broth (low sodium)

Directions

Heat oil in a large pot. Add chopped onion and saute for 5 minutes. In a large skillet, brown ground turkey. Drain fat with strainer and rinse meat under hot water to remove excess fat. Add Turkey to pot with onions. Stir in garlic, chili powder, pepper and cumin until well combined. Add both pinto and black beans after thoroughly rinsing, then add the tomatoes, chicken broth and tomato paste. Heat on medium low for 20 minutes or until thoroughly hot.
