    1 1/2 pounds gound meat ( I use turkey or sirlon)
    1 cup onions coursely chopped
    1/2 cup coursely chopped green pepper
    1/2 cup coursely chopped red pepper
    1/2 cup coursely chopped yellow pepper
    1/4 cup coursely chopped mushrooms
    12 oz can black beans
    12 oz can red kidney beans
    12 oz can yellow sweet corn
    12 oz can diced tomatoes


I usually let it simmer on low for about 2 hours.


1. In large pan, brown meat.
2. Drain grease.
3. Place into large pot. Over medium heat add onions, peppers, mushrooms, 1 TBSP chili powder.
4. Saute together for about 5 minutes.
5. Add corn, black beans, and red kidney beans
6. Add tomatoes and water
7. Stir together and simmer for 5 minutes.
8. Add tomatoe paste and additional spices.
9. Simmer for about an hour.
10. Place into boils serve with cheese and sour cream if you want.
