    1 1/4 cup sugar
    4 heaping tbsp flour
    3 cups milk
    3 egg yolks
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tbsp butter
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    5 bananas
    about 1/2 box vanilla wafers


Mix flour and sugar. Beat egg yolks, then
mix with milk. Add dry ingredients and cook
in double boiler until a smooth sauce forms.
Add butter and vanilla extract.
In large bowl, place layer of wafers in bottom
and on sides of bowl. Then place layer of
sliced bananas and alternate for 2 or 3 layers
