All rolled into one compact meal, serve these with a side of fresh veggies and you're good to go! All rolled into one compact meal, serve these with a side of fresh veggies and you're good to go!
Number of Servings: 24

1 lb extra lean ground beef
    1 lb ground turkey
1 pkg Bird's Eye Frozen Rice & Vegetable Mix
    1 pkg McCormick's Meatloaf Seasoning
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup ketchup
    1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Go on, get your hands in there...

Loosely shape 24 meatballs and drop into muffin tins (I use silicone muffin pans because they are totally non-stick).

Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes 24 Meatballs

  • Just made these for dinner. Really good! I have enough room in my day to have 4 meatballs as a serving. I also did a makeover and made mine with 2 lbs of Turkey because I don't eat red meat. Doing that took my calories down to 94 calories per meatball. I'll be making these lots. Great recipe! - 12/7/13

  • What constitutes a serving? 1 meatball? 2? This would be helpful. Thank you. - 4/22/13

The calories are per meatball. I usually have 2 or 3 depending on how hungry I am with a big side of veggies.

  • Not bad, but the picture is misleading, because it shows a plate with 5 portions! - 4/22/13

Spark uses stock photos. I agree, this is a rather large serving size! I usually only have two.
