    1/2 medium onion, browned
    2 cans black beans
    2 cans kidney beans
    2 cans dark kidney beans
    2 lb ground beef
    1 large can V8
    2 cans tomato sauce
    2 T. chili seasoning
    2 t. garlic powder
    2 t. onion powder


This chili freezes really well.


In a large saucepan, brown beef and drain. Add onions and seasonings and brown.

To the beef mixture, add all beans, V8, and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil, then let simmer for AT LEAST 30 minutes.

Serve plain or with cornbread and tortilla chips. Delicious!
