    800g minced (ground) beef
    Packet Tesco beef casserole mix
    Large onion
    about 4 carrots finely chopped
    4 or 5 medium potatoes
    milk and butter
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Tblsp Olive oil


Serve with sliced green beans or garden peas.


Heat oil in a large pan and add chopped onions and carrots, add minced beef and fry until brown. Drain off any fat. Blend packet mix with 3/4 pint of water and add to pan.
Transfer to casserole dish and put in pre-heated oven (190) until mashed potatoes are ready.
Carefully place mash on meat and veg mixture then put back in oven until top is browned.
