These are not low calorie, but they are packed with protein and fiber. These are not low calorie, but they are packed with protein and fiber.
Number of Servings: 16


    2 cups flour
    1 cup Hi fiber, hi protein biscuit mix
    1 pack yeast (proofed with 1/2 c water and 1 tsp honey)
    4 rounded scoops vi shake mix
    6 eggs
    1/4 c chocolate almond spread softened in 1/4 c warm
    2 Tablespoons Stevia
    4 Tablespoons sucanat
    4 Tablespoons date pieces.
    Stir wet ingredients into dry and leave stand for 10 minutes. (you may need to add a bit of water to thin it out, but the batter should be pretty thick and spoonable. Spoon into waffle iron and cook as recommended.


You may want to omit a couple of the eggs, the sucanat and the date pieces to cut out some of the calories.


Blend the ingredients and cook in waffle iron as directed.

Serving Size: Makes four 8 inch belgian waffles
