Introduction

Soak beans overnight and boil until tender. In a 10-inch skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic over medium high heat, stirring occasionally, until browned, 6-8 minutes. Drain fat.

Stir in green pepper beans, barbecue sauce, mustard, and water. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally, over medium heat.

    10 oz. dried Great Northern (large white) beans
    1 lb. learn ground beef
    1 small cooking onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic minced
    1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
    2/3 - 1 cup barbecue sauce
    2 T prepared yellow mustard
    1/2 to 3/4 c. water
    Salt and Pepper to taste
    1 Pillsbury junior buttermilk biscuits

Tips

In stead of dried beans can use 2 (15 oz) cans Great Northern (large white) beans, rinsed and drained
