Ingredients

    What You’ll Need:

    * 1/3 cup rolled oats
    * 1 cup skim milk
    * 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
    * 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice (mixture of nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon and ginger ---read tips section to know how to prepare)
    * 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    * Pinch of sea salt

    Toppings:

    * 1 tbsp chopped pecans
    * 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
    * Pinch of cinnamon
    * Splash of skim milk
    * Crumbled graham cracker

Tips

Make the Pumpkin Spice in a bigger batch to have handy for next time!

* 4 tbs ginger
* 4 tbs cinnamon
* 4 tbs nutmeg
* 3 tbs allspice

Mix together and store in a airtight container.


Directions

1. In a medium sized pot, heat the oats and milk of choice over medium heat.
2. When it comes to a low boil, turn the heat down to medium-low and add pumpkin.
3. Heat and stir for 5-7 minutes.
4. Add spices and vanilla and stir frequently for another 5-7 minutes.
5. Pour into a bowl and add toppings.
6. Grab your slippers, a good book, a cute puppy, and enjoy!
