Similar to Sparkpeople recipe, but using dry seasonings and extra beans. Similar to Sparkpeople recipe, but using dry seasonings and extra beans.
Number of Servings: 6


    1/8 cup olive oil
    1/4 tsp minced onion, dry
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 packet of Chili Seasoning (I used Kroger)
    1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained
    1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
    1/2 (15 oz) can chili hot beans (I used Kroger)


Serve with tortilla chips and a sprinkle of cheese.


Heat olive oil over medium heat on stove in large sauce or soup pan and add onion and garlic powder. Add tomatoes and beans, then stir in chili seasoning. Stir frequently to combine all ingredients evenly, and turn down heat to prevent sticking to pan. Heat until chili begins to bubble slightly. Ready to enjoy!

Serving Size: Makes 4 cups (1 cup serving size)
