Ingredients

1 cup Long White Rice
1 head garlic (about 10 cloves)
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup water
pepper to taste (optional)
Directions
1.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit .
2. Take the whole head of garlic and cut off the top part, revealing the garlic cloves inside. Wrap tightly in some foil and bake for 30-40 minutes (until the garlic is tender and creamy). Set aside to cool.
3. Combine the water, chicken broth and rice in a pot and cook according to instructions on the rice packaging (usually bring to a boil and simmer for 5-10 minutes).
4. Squeeze out the garlic from the husk being careful not to get any flakes of the shell of the garlic head. It should be the consistency of paste.
5. Mix the garlic paste and pepper into the rice, being careful not to mix too vigorously.
6. Serve hot as a side to any protein.
