    1 pound chopped crimini mushrooms
    .5 cups chopped celery
    .5 cups chopped sweet peppers
    Onion, if desired
    1 Tbsp butter or other fat
    1-2 Tbsp flour
    1 cup beef broth
    1.5 cups milk


Heat butter in saucepan, adding mushrooms and vegetables and brown them at high heat. When nicely browned, stir in flour. Add both, then milk. Heat to boiling. Season to taste. Serve and enjoy!
