    Butter flavored Pam
    1 package white or yellow cake mix (NOT the kind with pudding in the mix)
    1- 12 to 18 oz package frozen blackberries
    1- 12 to 20 oz package frozen strawberries
    2 C Diet Sprite
    whipped topping (optional)


Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 13 X9 pan with butter flavored Pam. Spread FROZEN berries in pan. Sprinkle cake mix on top. Pour 2 C diet sprite over all of that. Do not mix. It is ok to break up great big clumps, though. Cover with foil. Bake for 20 minutes. Uncover. Bake an additional 20-30 minutes. This makes approximately 12 servings.

This is good warm with (low fat) ice cream or whipped topping. It's also good cold--the same way! It's good all by itself! Also, since I am the only one in the house who likes berries in this way, I freeze a couple of servings at a time. It freezes really well. I also experiment with different kinds of berries and different amounts, depending on what I have around. I hope you enjoy it! This is one of my favorite desserts. I got it originally from the weight watchers website.
