Bob's Red Mill TVP, 1 cup
*Onion powder, 2 tbsp
Garlic powder, 1.5 tbsp
Sage, ground, .6 tbsp
*Crushed Red Pepper, 2 tsp
*MORTON Sea Salt, Fine Salt, .75 tsp
*Italian Seasoning, 5th Season 6 tsp
Water, hot, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
9 cups water
24 oz jar spaghetti sauce
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese low fat
1 cup Rice, Kraft Minute Whole Grain Brown Rice dry
To make a non-vegetarian add 1 lb ground sausage
15 slices of pepperoni, chopped and degreased. Replace Rice with Macaroni for non-GF recipe. Adjust calories. Brown the sausage then follow directions. Pepperoni is added with the cheese.
When browned add water, spaghetti sauce, and rice.
Cook over medium to medium high heat for about 12-15 minutes or until rice is done.
3. Stir in cheese until cheese is melted.
4. Serve and enjoy!
