lighter version of the family favorite lighter version of the family favorite
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 pound ground turkey
    2 cans kidney beans
    2 cans chili beans in sauce
    2 cans tomatoes
    chili powder to taste
    1 chopped onion
    1 chopped bell pepper

Directions

chop onion and pepper and put into skillet with ground turkey, brown. put chili powder in meat mixture and stir well. add beans and tomatoes. simmer for 20 minutes. adjust spice to your taste. if you want to increase spice, add more chili powder and hotter peppers, if you don't like spice, omit peppers and use very little chili powder. this is very hearty and won't need crackers!
