Ingredients

    1 or 2 egg yolks
    1/4 cup milk
    1/2 cup raisins
    butter
    1/2 cup rice, white
    1/3 cup sugar
    1/2 tsp salt
    3-1/2 cups milk
    1 tsp vanilla
    nutmeg

Directions

Beat the egg yolks in the quarter cup of milk. Butter 2" deep 9x6 baking dish. Combine all ingredients in the dish. Bake at 300F for 2.5 hours, stirring occasionally if you don't want much skin. Cook a bit less time for a creamier end result.
