This is another experiment with radishes to curb the craving for a "potato'ey" texture. This is another experiment with radishes to curb the craving for a "potato'ey" texture.

    6 Radishes
    Canola oil spray (optional)
    Seasoning options:
    - Salt & pepper
    - Cajun season salt
    - Thyme & salt
    - Lemon pepper seasoning salt


* I like my "chips" lightly brown, but still moist in the middle. I find this gives the rounds a slight crunch without being too dry.


1. Turn oven or toaster oven to 350 degrees. Use a non-stick cookie sheet. Spray the bottom of a cookie sheet quickly with canola oil spray (no more than 1 second) as an option.
2. Slice radishes into 1/8" thick rounds. Make sure the slices are all in uniform thickness. Place rounds on cookie sheet making sure they don't overlap.
3. Add seasoning options.
4. Bake for 5-8 minutes, checking every couple of minutes. The amount of baking time depends on how thick your rounds were sliced, and how crunchy you want the chips.*
