Ingredients

    2 TB cocoa powder
    3/4 cup pureed dates
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/3 cup butter
    1/3 cup milk
    2 1/4 cups quick cooking oats
    1/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
    2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Heat cocoa, sugar, dates, milk and butter over medium heat. When mixture begins to bubble, let it boil slowly for 90-120 seconds, then remove from heat. Stir together oats, peanut butter, and vanilla in a large bowl. Pour hot mixture over this and stir well. Drop by the spoonful onto cookie pan and put in the fridge to harden.
