Easy, simple and delicious! Easy, simple and delicious!
Number of Servings: 12

    2 16oz bags of Kale
    1 Smoked turkey leg, sliced
    red pepper flakes
    1 tsp salt

A splash of vinegar right before serving adds a nice flavor!

Slice turkey leg into slices, place turkey, bones and all in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 45 minutes until tender. Once the turkey is tender remove from water and let it cool, (once cool pull apart and either add it into the pot after you put in the kale or leave it in a bowl and add a little to each serving as a garnish) Add the red pepper flakes and salt to the water then add the kale. Keep mixing the kale until it is all wilted. Place on a low flame and simmer for 1 - 2 hours until the kale is the way you like it. If you need to you can add a little water as needed.

Serving Size: makes about 12 3/4 cup servings

Number of Servings: 12
