Introduction

Ingredients

    1/3 cup diced onion
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 Tbs red chilli pepper flakes or cayenne pepper (add more if you want more spice)
    1 Tbs olive oil
    1/3 cup water
    2 Tbs peanut butter
    2 Tbs hoisin sauce
    1 Tbs ketchup
    2 tsp sugar

Tips

This recipe can be kept in a sealed container in the fridge.


Directions

Heat oil over medium heat in a small sauce pan. Add diced onions and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add garlic and chilli flakes, cook for 2 more minutes. Add all remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat, stirring until everything melts and is thoroughly mixed together. Let cool before serving.

Serving Size: makes approximately 1 cup sauce, or 16 1Tbs servings
