    454 g uncooked large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
    Bamboo skewers (16 inches soaked in water for 10 min)
    3/4 lb Fresh Asparagus cut into 1 inch pieces
    6 Green Onions or large onion cut into 1 inch pieces
    large red pepper cut into 1 inch pieces
    1/2 c Balsamic Vinaigrette


Thread shrimp onto 8 skewers. Arrange skewers on ungreased baking sheet with sides.
Thread corn, asparagus, onions and red pepper on 8 skewers.
Arrange on the same baking sheet alternating the 2 types of skewers.
Brush skewers with vinaigrette. Preheat gas barbecue to medium. Cook vegetable skewers on greased grill for about 8 minutes, turning once at halftime, until vegetables are tender-crisp. Cook shrimp skewers on greased grill for about 2 minutes per side until shrimp turn pink.
makes 16 skewers 8 shrimp and 8 vegetable
