A quick and easy chili dish in a rice cooker. A quick and easy chili dish in a rice cooker.
Number of Servings: 4


    1/2 - 12oz can of chickpeas (drained)
    1/2 - 12oz can of red kidney beans (drained)
    1/2 - 12oz can of mushrooms (drained)
    1 - 12oz can of diced tomatoes
    1 cup of brown rice (uncooked)
    1/2 cup of water

    Cayanne Pepper to taste
    Cumin Powder to taste


Cooked in a 2qt rice cooker. Easily adaptable to a slow cooker.


In a rice cooker place in order:
Uncooked Brown Rice
Diced Tomatoes
Red Kidney Beans
Cayanne Pepper & Cumin to taste. (recommend 2 tsp of each for a mild/medium heat chili)
Add 1/2 cup of water

Place lid on rice cooker and set to Cook. Cooking time depends on rice cooker model.

Serving Size: Makes 4 - 1.5 cup servings
