    2 lbs broccoli
    1 chopped onion
    2 tablespoons butter
    1/2 tsp soda
    1/2 tsp cayanne
    1 tsp dry mustard
    4 cups chicken broth
    2 cups water
    2 cups fresh spinich
    1.5 ounces fresh grated parmesian cheese
    3 ounces good cheddar cheese grated
    salt and pepper to taste


I added a few garlic herb shrimp just for an experiment and this is a great add.


melt butter in dutch oven add onion cook till translucent add broccoli, spices and garlic. Stir to blend and warm add one cup water simmer for 20 minutes. When broccoli is tender add chicken broth and as much water as needed along with fresh spinich simmer till spinich wilted.
By batches blend soup in blender add cheese to first blend make sure very smoothe. Salt and pepper to taste
