Introduction

Anti-inflamatory tea. Anti-inflamatory tea.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

2 tbsp lemon juice (organic fresh sqeezed is best, but can be substitued with already squeezed lemon juice)

1 tbsp honey (organic raw, can be substituted with other)

    1/2 tsp of ground tumeric

1 3/4 cups of warm water (could use 2 cups if wanted)

Tips

Tumeric isn't water soluable so the tea will be somewhat grainy. You could choose to substitute the water with milk or coconut milk for best results, but that will add many more calories.

Tumeric has many medicinal attributes. One of which is being an anti inflamatory. I used to take 2 to 4 Aleve a day for the pain of my fibromyalgia and with this drink I no longer have to take that much. It only took one day of drinking this once to feel the results. The suggested dose of tumeric a day is 1 tsp. Two of these drinks will accomplish that. Before a meal is always best.

Directions

In a coffee mug or mug of your choice mix the lemon juice, honey and tumeric.

Heat water in teapot or microwave to desired warmth.

Add small amount of the heated water and mix the ingredients together. (This will help the tumeric to become a little more soluable) Add the rest of the water, mix and enjoy.
