This is super quick to make, even from frozen! If your sausage is frozen (like mine) thaw it mostly in the microwave. Veggies can be thrown in the pan frozen. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 package al fresca Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage
    1 bag of frozen cauliflower, broccoli and carrots
    2 Tbsp olive or canola oil
    1 tsp of Mrs Dash Garlic and Herb Seasoning or to taste
    2 cups chicken stock

Tips

Serve with whole grain rice (not included in calculations.


Directions

Slice the sausages into bite-sized wheels. Heat 1 Tbsp in a skillet. Add the seasoning and heat for 20 seconds-not longer or it will scorch. Add the sliced sausage and brown it on all sides. Remove from pan. Add remaining oil to the pan, more seasoning if you want, and add the vegetables. Sautee for a minute, then add the broth. Cover and steam for two minutes. Remove lid and add sausage back. Mix together for about 30 seconds to a minute to make sure it's cooked through.
