Ingredients

    2 15-ounce cans of chick peas (garbanzo beans)
    1 jar marinated, quartered artichoke hearts
    To taste:
    Olive oil
    Turmeric
    Smoked Paprika
    Saffron, crushed
    Chili Powder
    Celery Salt
    Kosher Salt

    Optional:
    Brown Rice Syrup 1 tsp
    Nutritional Yeast 2 tbsp

Tips

Use more olive oil for more moist chick peas. Nutritional yeast adds vitamins and thickens the coating on the peas.


Directions

Rinse and drain the chick peas. Put into large mixing bowl. Rinse and drain the artichokes. Chop and add to mixing bowl. Add olive oil and seasonings to taste. Stir with wooden spoon to coat evenly. Spread on foil-lined cookie/jelly roll baking pan. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake for 25 minutes.
