    1 T Olive oil
    2 Cloves Garlic
    6 C chopped kale
    3 T Balsamic vinegar
    1/2 C water


Use any type of kale. Steam long enough that stems get tender. This method of cooking keeps kale sweet rather than bitter.


Mince garlic, and brown in olive oil in medium skillet over medium high heat. Wash kale and shop/slice into 1/2 inch wide strips. Add wet chopped kale to toasted garlic. Add 1/2 C water, cover and steam until kale is limp. Add balsamic vinegar, cover and steam a few more minutes. Serve warm.
