1 tbsp white (distilled) vinegar
3/4 cup nonfat milk
1 cup plain white flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 tsp Truvia artificial sweetner (3 Packs)
This will make 3 Belgium waffles with a little batter left over. Cool any leftovers and wrap in plastic wrap and put in freezer. When you want to use them just remove from freezer and place in a toaster and use like the store bought ones.
In a bowl add dry ingredients and mix well. Make a well in center, add egg and soured milk.. Mix lightly using a fork (will be lumps but that is ok). Pour 1/2 cup batter into a heated Belgium waffle maker sprayed lightly with nonstick cooking spray. Close lid and cook until slightly golden. Remove and eat with your choice of toppings like butter, sugar free syrup, fresh fruit. ,etc. I like mine plain
