Introduction

Lovely hot lemon pudding I inherited from my mom - great with icecream if you're feeling indulgent! Lovely hot lemon pudding I inherited from my mom - great with icecream if you're feeling indulgent!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    Lemon zest + juice from 4 lemons
    4 large eggs separated
    pinch of salt
    2 Tbsp butter
    1 cup sugar
    4 Tbsp flour
    2.5 cups milk

Directions

Heat oven to 200 Celsius
Boil some water for a bain-maire

Beat eggs whites with pinch of salt until stiff
In a separate bowl mix butter and sugar, add the lemon juice and zest
Sift in flour
Mix egg yolk and milk and mix into the mixture
Fold in the egg white

Cook for 50 minutes in a bain-marie
