Ingredients

    Start with softened, not melted, butter. Cream with shortening and sugars. Add egg and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix together. Add flour, bp and salt. Mix. Add chocolate chips. Drop by tbsp culls onto baking sheet. Bake for 9-10 minutes, just until edges are golden brown. Cookies will be soft. Cool on pan for 15 minutes then transfer to rack.
    Chewy!
