    1 bag of dried garlic and herb lentils ( I used Hurts brand)
    1 15 oz can of tomato sauce
    1 15 oz can of diced tomatoes (or stewed, your preference)
    2 tbsp olive oil
    8 cups of water


Bring water and olive oil to a boil in a large stock pot. Add seasoning packet, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes. Add lentils and return to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 35-40 mins. Makes 12 servings.
