Ingredients

    1/3 cup (not packed) Raisins, golden seedless
    1/3 cup Candied Peel
    Water ~2 tbsp

    1 large Egg
    15 Sweetzfree, drops
    Milk, nonfat to 12 oz with egg

    1 tsp Salt
    1/4 cup Butter, unsalted
    1 tbsp Granulated Sugar
    3.75 cup Wheat flour, white, bread, enriched
    2 tsp dried Yeast
    2 tbsp Gluten Flour
    2 tsp Cinnamon, ground
    1/16 tsp Cloves, ground
    1/16 tsp Cardamom, ground
    1 tsp Ginger, ground
    1 tsp Allspice
    1 tsp Nutmeg, ground

Tips

You can use almond oil instead of butter. If you can't find Sweetzfree use Splenda 2/3 cup, or any heat-stable sweetener.


Directions

In a small bowl mix fruit and water, set aside. Mix egg, milk and Sweetzfree and nuke to lukewarm.

Add all ingredients except fruit mix to breadmaker, liquids first, and set to "Dough" setting. After machine has been mixing for 15 minutes, add fruit and water to machine. When dough is finished, flatten and knead, divide into 2 pieces. Shape and place each in a bread tin. Prove 60 min. Bake at 350 for 30 min.


Serving Size: Makes 2 loaves, 16 thick slices each.
