    1 block silken tofu
    4 oz. ground pork
    1/2 tsp sichuan peppercorns
    1 Tbsp sichuan spicy bean paste
    1 tsp chili powder
    2 tsp oil
    1 tsp soy sauce
    1 Tbsp fermented black beans (rinsed and diced)
    2 cloves garlic
    1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth


Garnish with sliced green onions. Serve with rice.


1) Drain water from tofu.
2) Heat wok over high heat. When hot, add 1 tsp oil. Reduce heat to medium high. Add ground pork. Stir fry until still slightly pink. About 2 mins. Set aside.
3) Add remaining tsp oil into wok on low heat. Then, add Sichuan peppercorns. Stir for about 30 seconds.
4) Add garlic, spicy bean paste, fermented beans, chili powder. Cook for 1 min or until aromatic.
5) Turn heat to medium high. Add chicken broth and cooked ground pork. Simmer for 1 min. Add tofu. Do not stir. Allow tofu to simmer in sauce for about 5 minutes. The tofu will break down slightly. If stirred, it will break down completely. That's not what you want.
6) Add soy sauce, if needed.
