    Kale, frozen chopped
    Chicken stock, homemade
    Beans, white cannolini
    Chicken fat (schmaltz)
    garlic power
    onion powder
    chili powder
    red chili flakes


Can use any oil instead of schmaltz, but you loose that rich roast chicken flavor.


In a saucepan, melt schmaltz and add beans; coat and cook beans 2 minutes. Measure out 1/2 bag frozen kale and season with garlic power, onion powder, chili powder -- mix well and add to saucepan. Saute kale 1 minute, then add chicken stock and red chilli flakes. Bring to boil and add 1/2 water to round up to 8 cups of components. Cook on low-medium heat 35 minutes or until beans are tender.

Serving Size: Makes 4 2-cup bowls of hearty soup
