    3 lamb fore-quarter chops
    3 carrots sliced
    3 parsnip sliced
    1 medium sweet potato chopped
    i small turnip chopped
    i large potato chopped
    4 stalks of celery
    2 small onions chopped
    350 grams of pearl barley
    tablespoon of dried mixed herbs


In an 8 lite (or larger) soup pot place the lamb and vegetables, rinsed pearl barley and a tablespoon of dried mixed herbs and over3.4 fill with water.
bring to the boil and reduce heat to simmer for 2 hours.

Serving Size: 2 cup serves depending on the amount of water added
