    Penne, Whole Wheat (1/4 cup dry or 1/2 cup cooked)
    Frozen Spinach, 8 oz
    Olive Oil (tbsp), 1 tbsp
    *15 Bean Soup, Hurst's HamBeens 20 oz bag, use half the bag without seasoning packet
    Ground Turkey, 2 oz
    Ground Turkey, Breast, 2 oz
    Sausage, Pork, Hot, 2 small patties
    Mrs. Dash (R) Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend, 1 tsp
    Chili powder, 1.5 tsp
    Garlic powder, 1 tsp
    *Peppers, sweet, red, fresh, 1 medium, frozen and crushed
    *White Vinegar, 1/4 tsp
    *Granulated Sugar, 1 tsp
    Tomato, Petite Diced, Diane's Garden, 1 cup
    *Onion, minced, 1 tbsp
    * bottle water, 1.5 quarts
    Chicken Broth, 1/4 cup, frozen


During cooking process, add water as needed. When at the point of adding the chicken broth, the water should be cooked down to desired thickness.


In a large saucepan/pot, cook half the bag of 15 bean packet for 1 hour. While the beans are cooking, cook the ground turkey and sausage in olive oil in a skillet. After the hour, add all ingredients to the saucepan/pot except pasta, peppers, tomatoes, spinach, sugar, vinegar, and chicken broth. Cook another 30 minutes. Add the pasta. Cook another 30 minutes.

With 15 minutes remaining add the spinach, peppers, and tomatoes. With 10 minutes remaining add the vinegar and sugar. With 5 minutes remaining add the chicken broth.

Serving Size: Makes 6 - 1 cup servings
