Ingredients

    *Flour, white, 2.5 cup (remove)
    *Motts Natural Apple Sauce, .5 cup (remove)
    Apples, fresh, 1 cup, quartered or chopped (remove)
    Orange Juice, .75 cup (remove)
    Orange Peel, 1.5 tbsp (remove)
    Cinnamon, ground, 2 tbsp (remove)
    Cloves, ground, 2 tbsp (remove)
    egg white, fresh, 2 large (remove)
    Oats, 1 cup (remove)
    Milk, nonfat, 1 cup (remove)
    Baking Soda, 1 tsp (remove)
    Salt, .25 tsp (remove)
    *Honey, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Cranberries, dried, sweetened (craisins), 0.5 cup (remove)
    Brown Sugar, 1 cup, packed (remove)
    Almonds, 1.25 cup, ground (remove)

Directions

put oats in milk and let sit while youre getting the other ingredients ready.

mix dry ingredients together in one bowl, except for about 1/4 cup of the brown sugar and a handful of the almonds. save that for later.

mix fruit and cinnamon and cloves and OJ together in another bowl. add to oatmeal mixture. add dry ingredients in next. if the mixture is too water, add more flour-- i estimated in the ingredients.

Oven should be set to 400*, grease your muffin tins. fill the muffin tins a little more than 3/4 of the way with the stuff. sprinkle with crunched almonds and brown sugar. bake for 20-22 minutes. makes about 15

these are very DENSE muffins, and are great for running out the door in the morning.
