Introduction

Homade Paleo friendly applesauce in the Crock Pot. Use grade A maple for sweetness or honey. Homade Paleo friendly applesauce in the Crock Pot. Use grade A maple for sweetness or honey.

Ingredients

    15 Apples, peeled and cored (I use mixed apples that are in the fridge as long as I can remember lol)

    1.5 tbsp Ground Cinnamon (more or less to your taste)

    1 tbsp Grade A Maple Syrup (Optional and you can use honey as well)

Tips

Great hot as a breakfast treat or cold anytime.


Directions

Peel and Core apples then slice or chunk. Place in Crock Pot and cook on low 8-10 hrs or 4-6 on High. Sprinkle with cinnamon and syrup. Add enough water to cover bottom of Crock Pot so apples don't burn.

Serving Size: Makes 6-8 cups when cooked
