An easy and fast twist on the traditional macaroni casserole. An easy and fast twist on the traditional macaroni casserole.
Number of Servings: 8


    500 g extra lean ground beef
    1.5 cups macaroni (dry)
    1 medium onion
    1 can (341 ml) kernel corn
    3/4 can frozen peas
    1/2 cup of light shredded mozzarella
    1 can tomato soup
    1 tbsp mustard
    onion and garlic seasoning


Brown the ground beef, then add onions and let cook.
Cook macaroni al dente.
Put beef mix aside and pour tomato soup, mustard and seasoning into the skillet to deglaze.
Pour soup mix together with the corn, the peas and the mozzarella into the beef mix, add macaroni and stir well.
Cover and bake for about 25 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

Serving Size: Makes 9-10 1-cup servings
